Default No ECU serial number for Flashpro verification

After pulling off the interior panel and turning myself into a pretzel, I found that there is no label on my ECU. I have a US spec '06. Is there any way to find the ECU serial number without going to a dealer? I'm reluctant to buy flashpro without verifying ECU serial number.

Did you unscrew the ecu and look at all sides?
I think the sticker is located on the side to the firewall so probably impossible to see without removing.

I did not unscrew the ECU; its a royal pain working under the dashboard of the S. I was hoping to find info via VIN search. It seems like I'll have to psych up to becoming a contortionist and dive back under the dash.

What's your build date? It's on the VIN sticker in the driver's door jam. Mine is July 2006 and I don't recall removing the ECU to get the part number. I also don't know of any different ECUs in the 2006 cars since they're all DBW.
