Problem after install AEM EMS
Installed my EMS today and have Jei @ Blacktrax tuned it, great tune and everything works very well except the EPS light is on and no power steering, also stock rev meter is not working anymore.
It only happens when I use the EMS, plug the stock ECU back and everything works. Did some searches and seem like some other people got same problem, but no follow up in thread, wondering if problem resolved and how?

Tried this morning, if I drive the car over 10-15 MPH, I have power steering back to work, but EPS light still on. But once the car got turned off and start back on, its not working again.
The EMS can get the RPM signal from the car, it's just the cluster doesn't work.

What caused your problem?
I had my G2X rpm signal from pin A19 from EMS which is engine speed output, so there is engine speed signal output from EMS. But I don't understand what's wrong, I replaced both cluster(another AP1) and EPS controller, didn't fix the problem.
Is there any other engine speed output wire? What I guess is the EPS controller doesn't get engine speed signal from EMS, so the EPS computer recognize the car is on ignition II all the time. But once the car is running, it gets the vehicle speed and turn the power steering on, but since there is no rpm signal, the EPS light is on for error warning.
Any idea?
Thanks

Ok I looked my all-data today, from the diagram, the EPS controller is getting engine speed signal from gauge cluster engine speed output(blue wire, connector C pin 5). So am pretty sure now if I can fix the cluster, the EPS will be fixed too. But on the cluster pinout, I only see engine speed output which is the blue wire I mentioned, but I don't see any signal input???
well with my series 2 box it had to do with some settings in the map itself. have you tried backing up your map onto a laptop and loading up/making a fresh one and loading it? and also when you connect your ecu to your laptop does it show your cars RPMs inside the aem program? and are you using aem pro or tuner?
I had the car tuned at another shop, we had this problem at first place, so he replaced the old map with one of his map which for sure no problem with other cars he worked before.
I have RPMs inside the AEM pro, and the pin A19 for RPM output has signal too, I got my g2x RPM signal from it. It's just doesn't show anything on the cluster.
