But now it's 93, and keep lowering!

Don't know what else to do with the car. I've done EVERYTHING! but nothing seems to work out.

1.) WIth all those mods, you lose power if you do not tune the car's ecu. Popular marketig schemes make you think bolt-ons create a ridiculous amount of power.... Usually goes something like "Intake 8whp + header 10whp + TP 5whp = what, like 23whp extra!!!" <---- **buzzer** WRONG! Tune it and the extra air flow those mods create will actually be useful.

2.) Have you accidentally pushed the kmh/mph button without switching it back again? That could be a crucial difference...

Good luck man, if worse comes to worse, take it to a shop and have them deal with it...

Yes, aviation is quite a bit different, but some principles apply in this regard.
INDYMAC-

You are clueless. For the last time, RPM @ speed is constant. Your maximum speed per gear does not change with heat or cold. Do you think gears magically grow teeth when it's warm out? By your theory, simply adding horsepower will raise your maximum speed in each gear. This will only increase how fast you reach the maximum per gear.

I was calling YOU a troll for trying to apply aviation/marine engine rpm/speed theory to a car with physical tires on the ground. Fluid dynamics to not apply in this case!

Why do you think everyone else is quoting you and saying you're wrong?

The ONLY way to change minimum or maximum speed in a particular gear is to change the gear ratios/final drive/tire size/engine redline. Temperature is not a factor, as much as you believe it to be.

i think it's the weather usually in my ap2
In hot weather It don't perform the way it performs in cool weather
(you can tell alot actually)

^That might affect power and acceleration but won't change max speed in a gear.

OK, I got a chance to do a couple of 4th gear pulls yesterday with an OAT of 95F-99F...not sure about the road temps. It looks like my dyno done 7 1/2 years ago wasn't that accurate wrt to RPM/MPH. The car is still stock, but I think the RE-01R 215/45/17 255/40/17 instead of the OEM RE 050 215/45/17 245/40/17 might have a slightly greater diameter.

My Actron scanner readings were as follows:

First pull
RPM 7911 IAT 145F MPH 100
RPM 8021 IAT 145F MPH 99 (shifting to 5th)

Second pull
RPM 7845 IAT 144F MPH 99
RPM 7962 IAT 144F MPH 101
RPM 7937 IAT 142F MPH 99 (shifting to 5th)

As you can see, I was wrong about atmospherics affecting the RPM/vehicle speed relationship.
It's not the first time that I've been wrong, and probably not the last!

I don't think I'm a troll (not sure what that is). But if I am, I appologize.

Did you change your rear end?
Change your secondary gear?

edit: Did you use to drive an AP1?

I think the problem is in your head. The speed you are getting now in 2nd gear is the top speed you should reach. So there is no issue here at all.
