I recently purchased a stage 2 clutch kit back in march. Roughly 2months/1500miles after fitting, the throwout bearing split. I wasn't sure at first if thats what the problem was, but i had my suspicions. & as soon as i dropped the transmission, i could see the throwout bearing had split.

So my Q to all you S2K wizards, would i be better off getting a genuine throw out bearing?

Has anybody else had this problem with aftermarket throwout bearings?

I have searched but had no luck finding much about the throwout bearings, except they make noise & how to fit them.

I have used oem and act throwout bearings with out any failures.
