Default Timing map too safe or ok

Hi! Ive been streetuning cars for past 10 years without any issues, alway had no problem with any car or almost any.

My s2000 bug me a bit. Because I dont want to make a disaster and break my engine in the middle of the road I'm worried if I'm getting the maximum possible power with the boost i'm running or if I'm too conservative on timing. To be honest I never build a gas turbo kit on a so high compression engine ( still stock ) 11:1 . I'm used to 10:1 or lower compression which is less predetonation friendly.

Here is my build :

-Stock Motor f20c 2002 80 000 miles on the clock
-Stock Ap2 transmission
-Exedy performance clutch kit
-Stock rear end
-Ported cast log manifold
-Hx35 turbo with custom 63 ported housing
-Custom 2.5inch downpipe
-test pipe
-Comptech full catback
-2.5 inch charge pipe
-38 external wastegate with screamer pipe
-11x26x3 intercooler
-EMUSA BOV
-Ported intake manifold
-Ported throttle body
-780cc injectors
-fuel pump rewire
-Snow water meth stg2 kit
-Mac boost solenoid
-Doctronic pro ecu-k ECU
-wideband AEM UEGO
-boost gauge
-oil filter relocator kit
-catch can

I know my weak point for knock would be my manifold, I know its not the best for hpwize too. But it is on now and working for a while.

I'm running 10psi on low boost @11:1 AFR and I have a switch when On, turns On methinjection and set to 14psi@ 11.2 AFR

My concern is really about timing map, when switch is on I used nitrous section to adjust fuel and give 3 degree more timing. By the way I'm running 91 pump gas here

So 2 questions for you guys, is my timing map Ok to you or could be improved? How much Hp you think that setup would be.

thanks for your help

Is this running the DocTronics ECU that BalladeSports is now distributing?

if your looking for knock datalog, for some reason I have to replace mine cant make it work for some reason with the doctronic. it will simply throw a cel and not work when activated and there is no physical damage to it and was working with the stock ecu before and never threw a cel. I can tell that im running between 10-13 degree retard vs stock timing at 10psi.

this is more what im asking because im not asking someone to tune my car via a forum. Maybe if someone could take a picture of his timing map on his turbo S2000 it could just give me an idea if im just waaaay to safe. thats is all I can ask cuz i know on meth I can be a little more agressive on timing but i feel like im still too conservative cuz im scared of blowing the engine. maybe i underestimate the f20c

I wouldn't trust anyone who says they can judge timing over the Internet. You knew this was coming but timing is best set on Dyno where you have fine control and can see torque in real time. If you can only street tune then it's probably a great thing to be on safe side.

He's the thing, there are too many variables. Easiest thing to do would be to A) find a dyno and tune it there B) call up a doc tronics tuner and ask their a opinion about timing for your set-up.

Well your doing the right thing in running meth injection and pig rich at 11:1 afr if your unsure of your street tune. Generally pulling 1 degree of timing per 1 psi is the rule, so pulling 10 degrees from stock timing at 10psi as you mentioned is in the ballpark, but the tricky part with a turbo is mapping out the timing curve with the boost lag/curve and at all different throttle points. If you want to extract the most from your investment, invest in some dyno time now and a good tuner that can assist. That's my advice.

thank you for your answer s2000junky. I think I'll leave it like this for now and rent a dyno in a couple weeks. My friend have a dyno at his shop and is about 2hour drive from my garage, I'll ask him when he have time for me eheh.
