I see all of you guys saying to get a tune for your Greddy kit, but can you do that if you buy a used kit. I talked to Greddy and the only way they said they would unlock the ultimate to tune it was if I sent in the CARB sticker, which the guy didn't have when I bought it. Can most good tuners unlock the ultimate on there own? I was going to go basemap for a while, but if I need it tuned to prevent damage, than I will do so.

Also, has anybody heard of Turbotune in Greensboro NC. I live near there and have heard good things about him. If not, what good tuners are there in the NC area.

 

I think you should find a good e-manage ult tuner and get it tuned. If you have any other mods on your car it will help.

 

There is no unlocking the emanage. You can unlock it yourself, the only thing is, the map gets deleted. Half of us have unlocked Greddy maps that you can put right back into your emanage. I have the AP1 map, but I am sure someone here has an AP2 map as well.

The only people that can unlock the emanage is Greddy themselves. They do not give out the passwords. When you send them your carb sticker , they don't 'unlock' it for you, they send you an unlocked basemap so you can upload it in place of the locked basemap. so if anyone has an unlocked basemap already, just ask them to send it to you.

 

Does anybody have a base map that will work for my AP1? I am anxious to start tuning now that I have all the mechanical bugs ironed out.
