Default 01 CTSC revs to 4K between shifts

Hello! I have an '01 S2000 with a CTSC and intercooler running 10psi with the EMS Series 2. I got the car from Louisiana and drove it up to Wisconsin. About halfway up here, I noticed a "sticky throttle" situation. Every time I'd push the clutch in to shift, it would rev to almost 4,000rpm....in every gear. It still does it and I have looked over the vacuum lines and haven't found any leaks. Would it have anything to do with the elevation change? I can't imagine it throwing the AEM THAT out of whack. I know I should probably get it retuned and I plan to take it to King Motorsports. But I was wondering if this is something that I could possibly repair myself. Any help would be much appreciated!

Does it idle at 4k rpm too, like if you were to throw it in neutral wile moving or stationary? If not, it wouldn't likely be anything mechanically related to your TB or cable linkage. Likely an EMS issue.

Yea, it's not that high all the time. I can get it to stay down if I simply keep my Rs down while slowing down. It sucks and I would like to get it figured out without having to get it retuned right away since I just dumped my wad into this car to get it. I figured it was EMS-related.

Maybe someone with more EMS experience has some ideas, but I don't think this is simply a tuning issue. If its EMS related, it may be a glitch with the unit.

Corey check the linkage cable..if you find it too tight you can adjust it with the 2 nuts. Other thing is to check if IAC idle control module. It is next to the linkage and has some vacum lines going to it +'s a black plug connector. Verify that the unit bolts are tightned and no leakage.

Thanks. I cleaned the IAC and it still revs high every time I shift. Ugh. The cable seems to be fine too. It wasn't like this when I picked up the car in Louisiana last week.

I had the same thing happen to me after I put my first SC on. After I tuned my tuner fixed it on the EMS. Bring it to a tuner unless your capable of navigating though the EMS. I wasn't so I had my tuner fix it. It wasn't the throttle cable btw. I hope it's a simple fix for you like mine was.

I called my tuner three times this week and they never called me back. I'm kinda weirded out since they are a very reputible company and I've never had an issue before with them. I'm going to email you now, InductionPerformance.
