does anyone know if any of the companys are working on turo kits for the 06+? or if any enginge manegement system are going to be put out for the 06-07 cars? . i know all the turbo kits will probaby fit but it wouldnt be safe to run without EMS.

Are the 06-07 drive by wire cars just going to be forgotten about???

 

i know a few people who specifically sold their 06-07's or went out of their way to find a new 05 or below so they wouldn't have to worry about drive by wire. I'm sure there is a way to get the systems to work... possibly just changing the throttle body to a 05 and below... but i haven'theard much about it... maybe a hondata type setup may work for you...

It is possible. There is a guy in Atlanta who was running a turbo on his MY06 Laguna for a while.

 

EMS works on 06+ now

run any turbo kit you want pretty much, you might have to convert from the returnless fuel system to a return style like some have done.

 

I have a 2006 S2000, and I bought a used Vortech Supercharger kit last week.

Tomorrow, my S2000 is going to the shop for a Unichip Q+ , it 's a piggybag and the stock ECU stays in my car.


My tuner wants to try the Unichip first at my stock S2000, and when everything works fine on the stock engine, he can put the supercharger on...

I hope it would work and I 'll post the results here

maybe 2QYK4U or Phillie can chime in and give us 06+ some tips. I basically want to know what is it that has to be done that pre 06 does not need. I plan on running the inline that I believe they both have or had atleast.
