i know that autowave makes a harness for the AEM EMS.
i heard the latest emanage ultimate can work with no modifications.
does vafc work with 06+ S2Ks?
any way of making a vortech FMU work? to my knowledge an AP2 kit should bolt right up. so what kinds of modifications should be done to tune it WITHOUT an EMS? (if thats possible)

this website sales the harness go with the emanage ultimate,vafc and etc...
but so far i haven't see anyone working with vafc on 06+ models yet.
And i do know some of the guys are using emanage and emanage ultimate on 06+ models, but in order to making it work, it's to keep the OEM ecu , so the ems with the special harness connect to the oem ecu, so that way u can tune with all then functions from the EMS , and the others going to control with the oem ecu, things like VSA,traction control.

it's a special harness made to connect the Acura AEM EMS to the OEM s2000 ecu, but all the DBW fumctions will be gone, including the traction control, and ur CEL will stays on as always.

i emailed boomslang and they said that their harness would work but u still have to slice in to the TPS. and i dont know how to do that.
if some1 were to be generous and tell me how i would gladly be a guinea pig

i know some of the companies are making something gonna work with DBW honda's,
GReddy 100% because they allready made them.
HKS - made allready , but thier is not such a good tunner for the F-con Vpro so far.
Hondata K-Pro they probably are testing right now, because all the new hondas are going with DBW from now on, such like s2000, Civics SI, or maybe the next Gen cars .

i think he meant that the fcon v-pro works with dbw cars.
greddy r developing the 06+ turbo kit. when i contacted them they told me its just an issue of the 06+ tune not the difference in harnesses.

i checked out the latest greddy emanage ultimate and i read that it should be compatible. but many members on this forum kept advising to splice through the TPS.

some1 please clear this stuff up for us noobs.

 

HKS F-con Vpro works with DBW, and that EMS it's like a piggyback for AP1, so if thier is a harness made for 06+ model , then it will work.

 

i hate to be annoying but will the HKS throw up a CEL?

 

for AP1 it's just like the AEM EMS, but not sure for the 06+ models,
if someone can make a harness connect to the OEM ECU it'll work fine too.

 

I know of several people running the Emanage Ultimate on a DBW s2ks. None of them are running boost but all functions are there. With boost it might be more of a challenge to tune since the fuel pressure system wasn't meant to see pressure above atmospheric.
