does anybody know where the tread about 06 is? or if somebody can just sum up what you cant mod to the 06 so far like seats, supercharger and if there anything else.

 

Why can't you do a S/C??? I thought nothing really changed in the '06 other than adding VSC

 

because of our DBW or somethin, we can use any S/C untill comptech or somebod makes one for us

 

have they said if they are working on it or any ETA of a kit for us?

 

I don't think it's the DBW as much as it's the returnless fuel system.

 

This is a good question for either the Forced Injection forum. I wasn't aware that there were issues with engine management with the MY06 and forced injection solutions, but you guys might be hitting on something. I'll move this thread there.

 

yeah i dont remeber exactly the reason why we can use current S/C that why im looking for the thread. also to find out what else we cant do

 

I emailed Comptech and got the following in response (damn quick, too):

"We have a 2006 S2000 in the shop now and are working on the supercharger install. If you check back in a couple of weeks we might have some more info."

 

Thats actually great to hear. I may wait on the Numbers for the supercharger or how they get this to work. I have done some research and the difficult part about trying to FI an 06 is that there is no fuel return. I have a UR turbo set-up I was going to put onto my new 06, but in order for it to work I would need to swap out the Fuel rail, Fuel regulator, & Throttle body for it to work. If comptech does have a great supercharger for the 06, I may just sell my UR kit and get that. I hope they get it out soon.
