AEM EMS used in conjunction with the factory ECU. Again, the search feature is your friend.

Nonsense. Searching my posts alone will give you all the information you need.

So that it is perfectly clear:

1. Hondata used my S2000 to develop the ECU reflashes they are currently selling for MY06 S2000s.
2. Mike @ AutoWave used my S2000 to develop a wiring harness which allows an AEM EMS (for an RSX) to be used in conjunction with the factory ECU.

fyi... I have tried to search this topic a few times. even right after you posted to do a search. for one the search would just return a blank page but generally it matches a bunch of non sense.

I do appreciate you trying to help though.

I heard of the autowave harness thing (just didn't know it was from autowave or mike or whoever)

do you lose any functionality with the autowave harness and does it work with the dbw or will it have to be converted to cable?

DBW works fine but you lose VSA, cruise control and your check engine light will stay on.

I see. basically what I wanted to find out is how much modification and the nature of the mods. like I wouldn't consider it if I had to hack up my wiring harness or do the whole cable conversion deal
