Mike from Laskey Racing said now problem, but since I'm new to the Honda scene and not used to trust high reving engines I would like to get some input from the high reving guys

I was told by Earl before he passed that some guys in Puerto Rico were running his built head and block to 12k rpm. Unless you have a turbo that can breathe that high, I don't know if it is worth it though.

better invest in a 42r

I really think the motor will be fine. I know several people that have jsut the valvetrain replaced and on a stock bottom end and still rev to 10.5k rpms! They are all turboed too running on inline pro's kit with the 35r upgrade

Wouldn't a GT3540 support 10,500 RPM ?
