1220sl stage 1
Bringing this back from the dead. I got my psi all figured out and the belt tension down correctly. Now ive been searching high and low for a picture of a stock RRFPR or a post that mentions how many threads it shows for stock fuel out of the box. Can anyone point me to the rite directions since im having no luck.
Do you have an AFR gauge w/ wide and sensor? If not, you should look into getting one. If so, make a few second or third gear pulls. You don't want any AFR's spiking over 13.5ish, and you want to be mainly in the 12's. If your AFR is too high in general, loosen the lock nut on the RRFPR and screw the Allen bolt clockwise to richen it up a bit.

I have an afr gauge with wide band sensor installed. During idle I see 14.8-15 and crusing highway speed I see 14.6-15.2 and it bounces back and forward between those. On WOT after vtec it sometimes dips down to in the low 10s but then bounces back up to high 12s. Just doesn't seem rite.
Those numbers sound about right to me. Your idle and cruise seem a bit lean if anything, but your WOT sounds right on.
For me, my cruise is around 14.2 +/- 0.3, idle is around 14.7 +/- 0.3, and my WOT ranges between 10.0 pre-VTEC to 13.3 right after VTEC transition. Usually the VTEC transition is where you see it run the leanest at WOT, and it should get richer from there to redline (especially with AP1). I used an Apex-i VAFC to lean up the top end and steady out the AFR curve (as well as lower VTEC to 5,000 RPM).
Your numbers sound fine; you don't want anything much higher than 13.5ish under WOT. Some will say that 13 is even too high for WOT.
Your numbers will always fluctuate around in that +/- 0.3 range at idle and cruise, even at constant throttle input. And unless you have a good ECU your WOT numbers will span a larger range across the RPM band.

Numbers are fine. Completely fine. Always gonna go a bit rich before vtec as fpr rises in boost. Then vtec and will kick lean for a smidge then right itself. Get stand alone and you can tweak it better. Idle and causing is fine

Here's a vid I took 2 years back of a 4th gear pull from around ~4k going up hill with my SOS Stage I (1220 oil-fed with test pipe and throttle body). Start around 17 seconds: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...jqysJhUw#t=17s
