Default 1600 Injectors

Does anybody make 1600 injectors. I know ID makes 1300 and 2000 but I don't want to run 2000 injectors anymore.

I have also heard rumors that ID are preparing to make 1600 again. Anybody know any details?

Why not run the 1300s?

If I'm not mistaken, I believe RC & Precision makes a 1600. Imo, I wouldn't run anything but ID's in my car. I haven't heard anything about ID bringing back the 1600. You should probably ask Tony, or maybe he can chime in on this.

It's hard to bring back injectors when they were discontinued for a reason . Especially when the reason they had was overheating issues with them (after not street testing them before sending them out lol)

Most higher cc injectors these days aren't even meant to be used with gasoline.

Reguardless the id 1300 was designed by Bosch with IDs needs and demands so it is surely a well designed piece. As for 2000s from ID, FID, or FIC..... They are all unmodified injectors so you really can't go wrong. At that point it comes down to a matching process. So no matter who you buy it from it will be the same injector.

All of those companies use a Bosch based injector, flow them, and slap their name across them. As for the 1300, that injector is surely awesome because it is MTBE compatible with a good amt of flow. With a rust free design ! Pricey to say the least. For that price you can get some 2ks and be careful lol

A lot can be said about a lot lol. Let's leave it at that.

As of now FIC is in the process with ASNU to bridge that larger injector gap. IMO it sounds like they use epoxy to put them back together lol. #run

I haven't heard much about ID closing that same gap though. Looks like we have us an arms race

I was considering the 1300 but I don't think they will flow enough running e 85 and 20psi. I am not going to mess with fuel pressure. I saw a teaser on FB and Tony confirmed they are in the works. They will not have the same issues I had with them the first go around either. They will idle much better than the 2000 will especially running kpro or flashpro.

What are your power goals? I'm planning to run the 1300s with a walbro 416 e85 pump and a new s200sx fmw Turbo hoping for atleast 600whp

550whp. I think your duty cycle will be very high with the 1300s at 550whp. You will not have enough injector for 600 at stock fuel pressure.

Well if I'm wrong I stand corrected. It would be interesting to see what duty cycle you would be running at that power level. I personally don't feel you should run past 90% but I'm not an expert on it.

Neither am I lol I'm still open to advise. I also would like something between the 1300-2000s I like that the 1300s are stainless since I will be using e85

I would use the 2000cc any day, but they just don't idle well for me. And partial throttle driving sucks! I get wide AF swings from 12-16. Must be the set I got. Jumped to the ID1300's and the car runs butter smooth. I get stock like driving from partial deccel to accel.

Currently running at 50psi base fuel pressure @ ~25psi E85 with steady AFR 12 to redline.
