Default 2 questions about E85

1.). What % increase would you expect from going from 93 oct/meth inj to E85 ?

2.). Can you run car on both w 2 different tunes and what is necessary to switch in the car set up ? Hope that makes sense

Not much E85 where I live but some......

the answer to the first question is going to vary. you can have two different calibrations for pump gas and e85 and switch accordingly. another option would be run a fuel composition sensor. it's the same sensor that the flex fuel cars use. the haltech pro plug in ecu currently supports the fuel composition sensor so you can essentially mix any blend of gasoline an e85.

the pro efi ecu has also been supporting this feature for a few years now:

The pro efi looks like a sweet set up. Are you running this set up personally ? Cost ? Can you run stock OEM fuel lines and any other things you need to invest in ?
I have the AEM v2, does it support the pro efi ? If not, can you do the switch between fuels like in the video with 2 set ups or how does it work then ?
Sorry for so many questions....Thanks !

pro efi is another ecu altogether. the car in the video is using a pro efi ecu with the fuel composition sensor. aem version 2 does not support the fuel composition sensor but the new aem infinity ecu does. me personally, i am running the haltech pro plug in ecu. i am running e85 on my s2k an i'm using the stock fuel system minus the injectors. i am not running the fuel composition sensor at the moment but it is on my to do list.
