Default Connecting B16 and ELD question

So when I go ahead and run my ELD and my B16 for the my boost solenoid do I need to clip it off and attach it to the Wideband and Boost controller, or can I just tap into it?

D16 for the 00-05's/B16 for the dbw guys.

Nesar, you will need a pin for the boost solenoid (B16 is unused from the factory). For my wideband, I cut the factory wire (at the ECU; pin C16 for me (05 s2k) and spliced in my gauges output wire (0-5v), leaving both factory O2 sensors off of the car). You can use the electronic load detection (ELD) at pin E15.

Okay thats what I wanted to know. If I need to take the wire out of the ecu or leave it in. If I cut it and just tap into it that should suffice right rather than using using a pin? I was wondering since im running flashpro if the ecu needs to be reading the information or is just trasmitted to the flashpro itself view the lines, but that makes sense. Thanks Kyle.

Did you send your ecu into hondata to have them solder pin in or w.e?

Hondata is really quick. I sent in my ECU just last week and they shipped it out the same day they received it.

Note, you will need to purchase the pin on the ECU harness from another source.

Ok im confused. So what do I need the pin for if im tapping into it for my wideband and then attaching my boost solenoid to the B16 that they install?

The ECU itself has all the pins populated on that interface; Hondata will internally connect B16 to a new logic source. The harness in the car does not have the B16 pin populated. You will need to buy a pin and install it in your current harness. Hondata does not provide the required pin (like they do for Civics)
