Default 350-400whp Turbo kit questions

Hey guys, I'm relatively new to s2 forced induction but I have experience with my supercharged Saleen Mustang and built motor 35r sti so I'm not new to FI In general. I've been looking into turbo kits for my daily s2 since I'm about to sell the roots blower on my other s2 and I'll have some cash sitting around. I'm looking to make 350-400whp and I'd have everything ceramic coated and possibly heat wrapped on top of that to take care of a lot of the heat issues. I'm looking for a kit that doesn't require battery relocation and preferably no ac line relocation either and will still be reliable enough to daily. Im only looking for 350-400whp as long as its my daily but with a turbo that spools as soon ad possible (I'd love 3500-4000). From the research I've done I think the full blown stage 2 kit with a gtx30r 1.01? Ar would spool really soon but still pull til redline and still flow well enough that I could just upgrade the turbo for more power in the future. I'm open to any turbo kit and any turbo that checks all the boxes. Thanks in advance for the suggestions!

SOS is a great kit if you want to stay around those power goals. Only problem is it's restrictive up top. So it ceilings out around 400whp on pump gas.

But it's a really well designed kit, small short runner, twin scroll manifold, bottom mount, so it spools quick and no relocations required. They offer a V-mount option as well if you want to do some tracking or live in a high temp climate. They're also known for being one of the most reliable aftermarket companies for these cars. The only real downside of this kit is the inability to really push the motor.

>For OP<
I have this kit, and a pretty much ironed out no gremlins power chart/dyno on my build thread.
10.5-11 psi on 92 Oct. 420whp and +-300wtq for a strong portion of the power band. The V mount is way overkill for street duty, and I live in HI.
You will not break 400 on pump gas with the re-circ tho. I barely made 360 with re-circ at 9.5-10psi. u can try to up the boost but a dyno from KMotorsports only made 399 @ something like 15psi on pump.

You need to do more research if the Full Blown kit is the best option you have found. Do you really want a forward facing turbo kit? What you really want is the PTUNING kit.

If PTUNING does go forward with this group buy, that would be a nice option. Other than that if you are ok with around ~375 whp the SOS kit seems to be the kit to go with as far as no relocating anything or tapping oil pan etc.

Id go PTUNING first if they release it. If not, go with SOS with GT3582. If you could drive in a s2k with these kits that would be ideal so you can see how they feel. you save around $250 around Xmas time on the SOS. Maybe email them to see if they'll honor the slight discount now.

PTUNING is not a choice right now unless you luck out on a used kit.

Full Race Pro Street isn't quite the complete, bolt-on kit that SOS offers, but it seems to make the most power. It also limits the areas of the engine bay exposed to exhaust heat (assuming you add proper shielding). IMO, this kit plus a GT3076R or GT3576R are the perfect fit for most S2000's.
