Default 4.57 Gear really worth it for FI

Hi Guys, I thought that I should share this,
Just got the 4.57 installed to MY02 currently with Comptech S/C w aftercooler.
Hardtopguy was the one who hooked me up with all these.

My impression is that, with the supercharger, the car is already fun to drive. But with this gear setup, it makes it even much better. It feels like u get to reach Vtec even faster. I think this really compensate for the low end torque characteristic of the car. I would say that those of you who had the SC, this gear is really something you guys should really consider to have. Although there is a little bit of whining between 4000-5000 rpm, but I actually kind of like the whine sound. To me it just sounded good. I know I already repeated this a thousand times, but I want to say it again, this is really worth it.

Many thanks to Hardtopguy, Jeff, Jim who installed the gear, Joe and also Hondaman ahahhaha... You guys are the greatest. Hardtopguy provide me with the excellent services by far. Thumbs up for them. Glad to know you guys.

I wonder if the 457's are a good choice with a turbo setup @ 6-9psi? Would it make more sence to be in boost longer or does it workout for the better over all?

I love mine. I would not want a 4.77. The 4.57 is enuff low end. I would say it is worth the $$

4.57's are a good compliment to the supercharger without a doubt. Now on turbo cars, they must feel awesome, that first gear must go quick.

I spin all the way threw first and half way through 2nd now. I would never put anything in my car to make the gears shorter, longer maybe, but def not shorter.

Questions:
1. 4.57 ok for NA engine? ... I would think so.
(I'm looking for a bit more zip out of the corners.)
2. Do you guys put your own reduction gear? Is it neural surgery, or can a competetant mechanic like myself do it?
3. You guys daily drive your reduced gear? Mileage affects?
4. $$ and where do I find one.

Thanks,
CB

Educate me...
"Spin"?
You mean spin the tires?
And do you have stock gears?
Are you dropping the clutch?
Do I ask too many questions?
