Well with enough persistance and credit cards any thing is possible I suppose..
Just came back from churches place...
410hp at 9200rpm
240tq at 8529rpm
alaniz head work, .060 gasket, 650cc injectors, 3.25inch pulley on a comptech charger. 70mm bdl tb, act clutch and flywheel, megan header, test, mugen cat back, gm 3 bar map.
install by tony fuchs...the man..
tune by church..........the man as well
get this I installed the krank vents...the car was making around 340hp...
we removed the front vent the power instantly jumped 60 HP.....yes thats right not a typo 60 HP..
DO NOT RUN THE FRONT VENT ON HIGH BOOST APP!!!!!!

couldn't believe that it did that much....my tuner said he never saw that much of a power gain from removal of a front krank vent..

wow... this is on a CTSC kit? did you modify the aftercooler? now im thinking which one on the basement should i install and sell the other kit thats not being use. im only planning to hit 400whp.
What made you decide to remove the 'front' krank vent?
Also, why would leave the 'rear' krank vent in after removing the front one? They only work properly if they are used together.
Where is kane.s2k, I want to hear his response as to why this occured...I am running 20 psi and want to know if the krank vents are hindering my power...

there was nothing wrong with the vents, they were installed correctly and were functioning. I checked and rechecked the installation in fact the tuner and the builder both checked the install of the vents.
There are other people on the forums running high hp supercharged cars that are also only running the back krank vent.

Stock kit outside the smaller pulley. I actually did change out the hoses for samco ones but that is it.
On another note I also tried drilling out the pcv valve and running just the krank vents.. Other people on the forum have had success with this I didn't. It made my car idle very high. I was told by my builder that it was not good for the car. I

I wish I could give everyone detailed info on why but I leave that to the pros....
From his expierence he has seen gains typically of around 15-20hp.. when removing the front krank vent. I dont know why mine was so friggin high..but it runs like a champ now.
