guys guys guys. Here is a thread showing more than one vortec car hitting over 400whp. Sideways included. These dynos are from Jan. So they are old dynos, so i cant comment if anyone in this thread has done more mods since these dynos.

Moral of the story. Its not that hard join the 400whp club with a s/c. It just costs money and a great tuner.

Not to get into a big debate here but I'll call it how I see it.

I hate to say but you seem to have been losing performance with your cam, & exhaust modifications and lower comp. I'm confident that with a proper tune, if you would have given stock specs a chance before "upgrading," sticking with the stock motor and exhaust you would have cleared 400whp. Hell you lost 20-30whp with an unnecessary compression drop alone. I mean why bother with meth if your tuner didn't bother to utilize its benefits?

From what I have read Sideways hit 509whp on Churches dyno, so about 470whp dynojet with some head porting.

I dont have a current dyno of my f22, but just for the sake of comparison I made 350whp with an f20/FIC @ 10psi and stock everything except for a flywheel and tp on a dynojet, which is the median rated roller dyno, just above the Mustang dyno, comparable to car manufacture specs which we all look at. Dynojet is the standard and what I pay attention to. 5 more psi & I would have smacked 400whp no prob without any other modifications.

You either lost power potential with your modifications, had far to safe of a tune or a combination of the both. My point is your the exception not the rule.
yea it could have been done just fine without the compression being lowered butttttt At the time that was when we all thought it was required to lower compression with more then 10lbs of boost hahaha

Also with the cam gears i made more power with it because he degree'd the cams to be used more promptly with FI applications.

also nooo problem on the debate haha, this is all in fun and hopefully it will stir up a supercharged application NON- Dynopack that made over 400hp. i do know the new vortech v3 series can make more boost but i just wanna see it on paper. thats all

noo the moral of this story is a supercharged s2000 making over 400whp that is not dyno'd on a DYNOPACK!!

Thats all I am trying to achieve here hahahah

as soon as we find a few more besides sideways then ill be happy. because it is a difficult task to achieve and i havn't had the chance to see more then one

400whp can be done. Just with a lot of boost. 518135 layed down 408 revving his f20 only to 8600 before the fuel pump cut out. Its not a Novi 1000 though, he has the SOS kit. All his runs along with mine are on a dynojet at King Motorsports.

Kraftwerks does not have a dynapak. They have a superflow roller dyno.

Here is another link to that dynomeet. check out the pics. I count three s/ced s200s over 400whp.

NOT a dynaPak
