Cats are for pu**ies

just read your build, get yourself a good tuner and you'll hit the 400 mark.

Lol, Well guess ill keep my fingers crossed but my setup is very similar to yours, just not a 3" exhaust rather a 70, But have header and Im getting it tuned by Jeff Evans which I have heard really good things about so see what I can swing in spring. You give me hope for that magic number though

yea i have also heard good things about jeff. the more 400 hp comptechs the better i say!

im pretty much done modding my car and it has finally gotten to the point where all I need to do for maintenance is standard oil changes and replacing the belt, no more messing with the ECU to get it to start in the cold :-(. only thing I plan on doing is testing with water/meth to keep my AIT cooler, not trying to push any more extra hp out with it incase I don't have any meth or w/e. probly program an extra pin into the ECU to turn the meth on above 0 psi n such.

I purchased the Novi 1500 custom kit that was for sale recently here on s2ki. Its sitting in customs awaiting clearance as we speak. Should pull over 400whp on that set up.

EASILY over 400whp. Can you really call that a Comptech kit, though? Good kit...low miles. Enjoy it.

I'll still be utilising the Comptech A/c box and spearco front mount.

Essentially all that's changing are the crank pulley, the S/c mounting kit and the Novi 1000 in exchange for the Novi 1500.

I'm just going to run ~11-12psi on an otherwise stock engine, until I feel the need for more, resulting in head studs, supertech springs / retainers / headgasket etc.

Cool setup man. Yeah, I strongly considered picking up that supercharger when it went for sale. I think I regret not doing it. Please take detailed pictures of the kit and post in a new thread. You are breaking new ground with this size of a supercharger. You could potentially make well over 500whp reliably and track the piss out of it. Pretty neat stuff!

he's running the stock header with a 3" resonator in place of a test pipe. then it goes 3" straight back to a "Y" where it turns into two, 2 1/2" piping going into two, 2 1/2" mufflers.
