I have a feeling it will be a bit before we know if the new version will be as reliable and nicely executed as the original.

The verdict is still out on how efficient the bigger blower is. Even if you get extra HP up top, you may be losing hp/tq under the curve somewhere down lower.

The other problem is the fuel return system as I said earlier. The original kit was right at the edge of needing to replace it. With this, you will probably not be able to feed it enough fuel so there goes another grand for that.

i remember someone with an 06+ that ran a walbro and kbap and touched 475whp on a jet. it can be done, but the better way is to go return setup.

The problem with the old kit was that it was maxed out right out of the box. Great if you just want a simple kit. But really bad if you want to tinker. So what if you have to upgrade the fuel system? If you are wanting big HP and you have an 06 you are going to have to do it regardless of what FI kit you buy.

But because my KW kit was maxed out i had to sell the ENTIRE s/c setup and buy a completely different system. It would have been really nice to just slap on a pulley, do the fuel system conversion and be able to nail 500whp. But nooooooooo.

I'm saying people complain about the smallest things and those not well versed in the theory of FI want an out of the box experience.
I absolutely agree about upgrading the fuel system anyway.

About the maxed out thing, I am guessing you are the type of person who would have it at the max from the start anyway
