Default 440's at 7psi

I have 440 RC's controlled by emanage on my comptech s/c with 7lb pulley. My injector duty cycles show 100% from 8300-9000. I am using a stock FPR. Why are my duty cycles so high? I know a lot of you run the 7lb with stock injectors and the FMU. Should I look into getting an adjustable FPR or 550's?

I was running 440s with 8lbs and the E-manage. But then I was using a SARD FPR. Not sure what the pressure was set to though.

if i were you I would get some sort of adjustable fpr. I like my aem pretty good. factory pressure is 47-50 or something close to that. My 550's barley see 80% at 8500-9k with 9.2lbs load. you should be fine.

SARD was recommended but I had not heard of it. Does it mount directly to your fuel rail? How about the AEM? Is the SARD 1:1?

You will need to increase your fuel pressure to get the duty cycle back to 80% or less. The AEM FPR is commonly used and is a direct bolt on. You may want to tap your fuel rail for a liquid filled gauge to know exactly what the psi is, but it's not absolutely necessary.

My static fuel pressure was at 55psi with 440's on 7.5 psi. Duty cycle was around 85-90% if I remember correctly.

I think I'm going to order the AEM Monday. I'll take my fuel rail off and tap it hopefully this week. Do you have to drill straight through the rail and then plug the other side?

you just want to tap one side of the rail for a fuel pressure gauge so you can see how much pressure you have. the aem is a direct replacement and yes it is 1:1. it comes set at 45psi I think and 1 full turn clockwise of the adjustment screw is +5psi but that is what the guage is for so you don't have to guess.
