550s or 650s
I will be intalling a vortech SC next weekend and im trying to make sure I have everything ready for the install before hand.....I will be upgrading injectors and have a set of 550s already..are they big enough or should I sell them and get some 650s????
Thanx

Also anything else you guys can think of that I should have on hand for the install would be great??? I was thinking about getting a greddy oil filter adapter and some fitiings if nesessary. I already have a defi oil press gauge hooked up to where the stock one goes and i would rather not put a T on that line if I can avoid it?????

I am also using an AEM1052U!!!!!! for EMS!
There was a post a while back on the FI forum regarding "Post your Dyno and Mods" I looked briefly but could not find it. I would check there and see what other SC with 4.5 pulley people are doing.

According to the Post your Dyno Thread. The following people are running the following setups.
Scorpion - Vortech Supercharger @ 9psi with 650cc
Casterdog - Vortech Supercharger @ 4.3" Pulley with 750cc
GoFaassttt - Vortech Supercharger @ 10psi with 750cc
Sideways - Vortech Supercharger @ 13psi with 750cc
John Z - Vortech Supercharger @ 4.5" Pulley with 750cc
Looks like at minimum I would get a 650cc injectors, but would lean towards a set of 750cc injectors as long as your tuner can make it have a smooth idle.

BTW, you'll be more than good with the 650's at 10 psi.
I'm not trying to make a "for sale" by any means. But if you do decide to get a set of 650cc injectors I do have a set for sale - $300 Shipped & Insured.
Other than that. I would recommend an AEM Fuel Pressure Regulator to go along with the new Injectors & EMS.

Most likely you will not be able to use the one with the kit. I tryed and my car just dumped gas.
