Default 6265 turbo

I need some info please..

I have a Precision 6265 JB. My motor gave out and shot some parts threw the back housing wheel of the turbo and bent the fins. I just got a new motor and started putting it back together. So I took the turbo to turbochargers.com and they stated that precision will not sale parts to anyone and that my only option is to send it to them to get fix. After I left there and called Precision to ask for a BALL PARK price on what it will cost to fix (shaft/fin replaced). The guy on the phone told me that they are not allowed to tell me any prices even if its a ball park. I stated that I wanted to see if it was worth it to ship it to them to fix it or just buy a new one. He stated again that he's not allowed to tell me anything. I then told him that the way he is talking to me makes me just want to throw it in the trash and go with another brand. He said.... OK.

QUESTIONS FOR YA..

1. What do you think it would cost to have a new shaft and fin put on it?
2. How long does it take them to fix and send back?
3. Would it be better/same price to just buy a new turbo?
4. Anyone know a shop that can fix it?

I would vote for buy a new BB turbo. Ive noticed the S2000 seems to like them more and have less problems. Im thinking of ditching my JB for a BB myself.

That sounds bad, you always here something good about them then something bad.

Any pics of the turbo or damage. How many miles on it?

Chances are you need a new CHRA. Just buy one and save yourself the grief.
