850whp would net you some deep 9's. Are you going to attempt this on the stock trans?

I am going attempt a 9.99 with the stock trans which is why I bought a spare for the attempt It has been done before at 9.95 so why not try until I can get the G-Force trans in the spring.

That 9.95 pass was likely mine. We had a couple trans let go in well into fourth gear at 800whp. We turned the power down to ~725whp and were able to keep one together for one glory pass lol. We had some traction issues but still cut a 1.51 sixty foot not bad for stock struts with drop springs. Your wider tires and longer gearing with the 3.9 should help you, but you will still most likely have to shift into 5th.

Your build is the one that started this mess! Your setup was super freakin clean man and it sparked this new debt of mine haha.

My only question is why 9.6to1 compression if your going e85 ?
I was understanding e85 loves higher compression

I went with these because they were off the shelf and the next off the shelf is 11:1. I wanted 10:1 but I wasn't going to pay the extra $200-300 for it. I also chose 9.6:1 because with the head having been slightly milled/resurfaced, along with the block deck being done while sleeving, that is probably not 9.6 any more. I will never run a high compression motor again with E85 because with the intense amount of cylinder pressure and godly amounts of fuel needed at high power levels, E85 wasn't very easy to ignite even with the Boost a Spark turned up high. Also, after seeing several setups with various compression ratios, the power differences were not extreme enough to sell me on 11:1 again. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the 11:1 CR responsiveness but I think mine will still be peppy.
