Default Accessory Power

I'm about ready to get this thing fired up finally...however I have a few questions left.

I've got a few items left to pull accessory power (switch power) to and I'm not sure the best place under teh dash to do that.

I was looking at a spade connector to shove in place of the fuse, but I'd like to keep my fuses in place.

I did buy a fuse looking block, that goes in place of the fuse, and has a wire coming out of it and the fuse plugs into it.

However I've bought 2 of them, and neither one worked, so I don't know what thats about.

So I'd just rather cut/splice into a factory wire that I know will work.

I figured someone would know a good safe place for me to pull some power from.

Thanks

Are those open ? Or are there normally relays there?

I could use a spade type connector there I think.

They come from Honda open like you see in the picture. A spade connector works great.

Thats what I had, I bought one tried it, no worky, so I returned it. Grabbed another and the same thing now.

I pulled the fuse, placed the fuse in the part, and put the entire thing back in.

Won't work, I put the wire directly in the slot were the fuse would go in the block and it works fine.

Thought it was strange.

However I noticed there are 2 slots on top of the part, maybe it needs 2 fuses?

I only put one...

make sure that you are installing the "add-a-curcuit" in the correct direction, if it doesnt work one way, flip it around and it should work the other way, they have a diode like design
