make sure that you are installing the "add-a-curcuit" in the correct direction, if it doesnt work one way, flip it around and it should work the other way, they have a diode like design
No kidding ??

Well the way I was installing it, I could only put it one way, b/c the flying lead that comes off is on teh side, and it was hitting the relays, so I had to put it in facing that one direction.

Doesn't matter, I'll simply get a spade connector and try using those points posted earlier.

the spade connectors are by far the easiest ways to get power, but yeah, thats probally your problem with the add-a-curciut, it has to be facing a certain direction...

Stopped @ Radio Shack and picked up an assortment.

I had some @ home, but wasn't about to get home, and not have any fit, lol.

It finally made sense to me after I saw the picture, I thought you were referring to the individual fuse slots themselves...lol

Bump...

I currently have my water pump and PLX wideband tapped there at C, but just realized that I'm not getting enough power to the PLX wideband with both drawing power from there. I just finished installing my SOS kit this weekend, so I was running the PLX wideband there for the past month or so w/o issues.

I believe the PLX wideband needs a minimum of 12v and it dips slightly under with both sourced there.

Any suggestions on where else I should tap into for a switched power source, whether for the wideband or water pump?

I'm not sure and I haven't looked, but I wonder what it would take to re-run a bigger gauge wire there so the power doesn't drop.

Why not just use the constant one? I believe it goes off when the car is off. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Constant is just as it sounds...stays on regardless of everything
