Default Aem 1052u o2 wires cut

guys
i got this aem off of a s2ki member,

the o2 sensor wire has 2 wires cut, the blue and orange one side, and on the next side orange is still attached and blue is cut!!!





what are these wire for? do i need to reconect any?

Splice them back together and solder them. I don't know why they would have been cut. he may have spliced the wires directly into the factory o2 sensor wires and just set it into the ems like that.

ok, but

the blue wire dose not have a pin port into ethier plastic conector. look at pic 1 &2


anyone can take a pic of there own, what color wire do you all have?

Looks like the orange needs reparing and that the blue was just a spare wire in the multiwire cable and can be ignored.

i solder the orange back, i was mostly iffy about the blue one, its strange that AEM put it in!!

They are probably using 7 core wire that is used for trailer lights or similar, but only need to use 6 of the wires.

I just checked a AEM that I have here and the blue is there and unused as well.
