3-Sep can be used as traction control. I've yet to configure it for someone however I'll test it shortly on my own car once I'm done upgrading my supercharger unit.

Thanks for the info. I assumed its a rev limiter you can set higher up the rev range after your 2 step which you use to launch off the line so you can use the 3rd step for...hot boy stuff I guess lol. I'll be supercharging soon too. It's ready to be mounted but I need to upgrade my clutch first. Waiting on the ACT HD PP to be delivered.

Although fun, I don't setup a 2-step on a SCd setup as it is not good for SC gears.

I even soften rev-limiter for people, so much so you'll feel power loss thus suggesting it's time to shift. If you choose to push it, only then does the fuel cut comes in.

Basically, I'm a party pooper as I cater more to reliability and longevity folks with smooth power delivery and snappy part throttle. I stay away from tuning party tricks that bring all boys to the yard.

I see.

Isn't fuel cut what Honda programmed into stock ECU's so at 9200 rpm the limiter will kick in and that will be fuel cut but not ignition cut?

Correct. Probably to preserve the valvetrain.

Cool. I remember the stock limiter was quite harsh in terms of cut off. The car would almost pull back and then accelerate again. Now on AEM V2 its a much smoother limiter where the car doesn't abruptly pull back like stock. My tuner said he sets his limiters softer for that reason.

We use it on a drag car for traction control while keeping the massive turbo spooled in lower gears.

That's cool. Seems to be most effective in that kind of scenario
