Default Aem Ems pinout for dual fuel pump

Hey guys,

I'm getting ready to order my full blown dual fuel pump setup and need to know which pinout to use on the ems to have the second pump to come on at around 10 psi. Does anyone know which pinout to use to get the aem working to turn on the second pump when needed. Maybe Evans can chime in and help on this for me also.

Thanks

You could use LS #12 (Pin A8). Make sure to use a relay between the output and your fuel pump - LS12 is a ground output only rated for 1.5A max.

Thanks man, I really appreciate that.

Ill use the stock fuel pump power wire to run to a relay and switch the power from a 12ga wire on the main running pump. Then ill run a second 12ga wire and use that pinout you mentioned to switch the second relay to power the second pump at around 10 psi off the aem. Does that sound like the way to do it?

Thanks again for the help.

The way I mean is run that LS #12 or pinout A8 to number 86 on the relay to swith the relay power on and the same thing for the stock wire on the main pump. Is that correct? Hopefully that made sense. Lol

I hope I don't have my boost solenoid an the a8 pinout also. I can't remember which one I used if a8 can be used on that too. If so, what other one can be used. Thanks.

You can use any of the following...

Low Side #12, Pin A8
Low Side #9, Pin A22
Low Side #2, Pin C1

They are all low amp negative outputs so a relay would need to be used. Please email us if you need a diagram on how to wire the relay.
