Default AEM EMS Series 2 for Hondas just released

AEM has just released the EMS series 2 for Honda applications. The series 2 will replace the original EMS, which has been popular and very effective and easy to use for tuners. Some of the key features are as follows:

- Plugs directly into the factory harness. No rewiring necessary.
- Maps can be password protected by the tuner to prevent unauthorized usage or sharing.
- Tune using new USB communication port or serial port.
- Compact enclosure for convenient mounting.
- 1MB of internal data logging.
- 6 coil outputs.
- Includes start up calibrations.
- Works with all AEM gauges.

password protection only hurts the customer, not really helping the tuner, if I pay for a tune, I get the unlocked map, unless you are going to tweak my tune for free after I paid once

So what factory guages do work with aem ems? I thought old ems was plug & play? What wiring and cutting needs to be done to make old version work?

The gauges work, just not the temp gauge.

modifry.com has a solution for that.

Wow. I like the new software. Gonna take some getting used to, though. I don't think I'll be upgrading for a while...my EMS is running awesome.
