Default AEM EMS Temp guage question

Hey guys Recently my stock coolant temp gauge that Im aware is no longer functioning has gone from the normal 1 bar that it showed since tuning with EMS, to full hot all bars and the red. Should I be concerned? Any thoughts? Did some searching but have found nothing like this.
So to sum, for 2 years after Jeff Evans did AEM EMS the stock temp guage sat at 1 bar, now out of nowhere its full hot all the time...
Any help would be great

PS,
the car's collant temp is normal

Thx

I don't really know too much, but in my opinion you've had something wrong with your temp gauge all along if it's sitting at 1 bar. The aem ems (depending on version) requires a modification to display proper temps. Read this: http://www.modifry.com/products/ect/ap1.htm

Im aware of that unit, I never did it. But, after installing EMS the factory temp gauge is considered normal at 1 bar and should not change becuase it is not reading the signal from the EMS now. So im confused as to why 5k miles later it moves, lol!!

If the gauge is going full on make sure car is not overheating. Gauge will work. It's 1 bar for normal and full bars for overheating.

However. Get a serial gauge or log water temps. Did u recalibrate sensor table?

I have aem 1052 and ever since install my temp guage is always full red.. My tuner said its normal and sometimes its different, some cars have 1 bar only, others full red. And car is not overheating.. Kinda weird that yours just started doing that tho, but I'd say your fine.
