Just tryign to get this in before the motor comes this week. on the actual harness where the plug for the coils are which is the poss and negative for putting the 954 coils on and this is a stupid question but I had a brain fart is cylinder 1 in the front or rear of the engine bay. I know I know. thanx for the help guys

 

From what I remember, cylinder number 1 is always the one that is closest to the transmission... so #1 would be in the rear of the engine bay for us...

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

 

also to further my question is the blk yellow the signal wire? or the other wires with white and what is the solid black?

 

No, #1 cyl is towards the radiator. #4 is adjacent to the firewall.

 

#1 is towards the front and you take your ignition timing from cylinder #4

 

so what color wires go to the new coils and what color do I tap for each coil with the ignition box

I got that much but I can figure out what goes where on the cbr plug. The Wire closest to the D in denso gets connected to? than the other wire gets connected to what color? thanx in advance guys
