Default AEM Limits

this may be a stupid question, but never the less i will ask it. has anyone changed the vtec in the S to come on earlier with their AEM. this is what I mean. Have it set up for at the track the vtec cuts on at like 3K rpm in 1st and goes back to normal for 2nd gear and up. so if its possible without lots of engine damage i was trying to find ways to cut down on 60ft times.

if you want to lower VTEC, get a more efficient manifold! Something like a full-race or Pfab tubular manifold! If not, change your driving style!

Ya just need practice.

Lower tire pressure, change launch rpm and preload...

Suspension work/etc.

Alot of things to take into consideration.

Lowering vtec w/o tuning will have negative effects...not to mention you would need mods to support it as well..

You'd be loosing power if you engaged it too early so why even bother?
That's funny because mine is around 3600 rpm when it engages at full throttle.
