I don't want to take this thread too far off track... but I just want to say for those who can run a true standalone I would definitely go this route. With piggy back come interesting issues - like crossover. I have a UTEC in my STi and there are definitely times when it's plainly obvious when the UTEC is taking over. And no matter how hard they've worked to reduce this, it's there and probably always will be. So, get the F/IC if you're strapped but get a true standalone if you can afford to do it.

No luck getting the install completed today. Throwing CEL's. Hope issues can all be resolved tomorrow.

No solution. All the engineers are at Bonneville and won't be able to address the issue until the end of next week at the earliest.

I've been hoping to get this thing working since early June. After sending the unit back to AEM and getting the update, I was optimistic the problems would have been solved. No such luck. I'm about ready to give up and go for e-manage.

Its worth just getting the EMS instead....although until you've actually tried the EMS, you'll have no idea how such a good idea it is to get one.

I would love to see how well this works on a FI(Comptech S/C) car like my AP1 on a stock or a little more than stock boost, once the dust clears.

Didn't mean to sound rude.

Just wanted to make sure.
