Default AEM serial gauge

If I am using AEM EMS V2, does the serial gauge need a separate wideband sensor.

AEM part number 30-2310 is what you need.

Wow 300 for the gauge and 200 for the uego. I think for my SC set up I may just go with AEM failsafe, boost and AFR gauge.

You still need it for the air fuel gauge, unless you're talking about picking up the stock narrow band signal which is not very accurate and a waste of a gauge.
If you want function and are boosted, accurate air/fuel and boost are gauges you should have. That's why it makes sense to get the serial gauge. With the uego sensor you will get air fuel and you can pick up so many others without much needed stuff, map sensor and oil sender are good to. That will give you air/fuel, water temp, oil pressure, boost, air intake temps and more in just one gauge. But, at the end of the day if its a street car, you can live with air/fuel and boost. Its at least good to know its running right and your belt isn't too lose causing low boost, or whatever.

I think you'll still need the wideband adapter to see AF. Should have my iPod and module installed this week so you may be getting some PM's about install and programming.

Or buy the wideband gauge and use what you need. Or buy the harness seperate and sensor seperate to save a few bucks.
