Default aem water/meth install

pics will be up later today. finished up last night installing. just waiting for the glue to dry for the retrofit parts into the windshield wiper reservoir. if anyone has a trunk sub in there car, its the only place you can use. otherwise, this install woulda looked really ghetto.

pump is mounted where joeyballs and others have put it. lower passenger fender. controller is under passenger dash. nozzle is plumbed into charge pipe near dummy throttle body <where normal tb is>. green led is mounted into my gauge pod.

we test fired the system a few times. pretty funny how much water is actually sprayed. it mists into the pipe, but with no rushing air there it turns back into a puddle ROFL.

mine is set to start spraying at 4psi and go full blast at 7psi. i have the smallest nozzle in so far.

i am gonna get the system up to temps that i normally see, log a 3rd gear pull. then turn on the water mist and log third gear again. TEMPS BETTER GO DOWN!!!!!! thats all im saying rofl.

down the road, i will get the car tuned on 50/50 mix, and hook up the failsafe wire to the aem ems. that way when i go into boost, the aem ems will trigger the water/meth to spray. if the controller gets an error, it will tell the aem ems to go back to the non meth map. the water/meth map will be the nitrous map they allow you to uyse and switch on the fly too.

should be fun

Sidenote: I have a sub in my trunk

I'll have to get creative.

behind the fender using the window washer reservoir is the perfect setup. nothing is visible in the engine bay and you have a really discrete install. and if you're using just water with no meth you can still use your washer nozzles.

Varries a fair bit between people I am sure. Its all dependant on how often and the duration your in boost. Also depends what size nozzle your using and how big of a tank you have.

I fill it up once per gas tank fill up, it lets you know when you are running out, based upon where you set the low level indicator

Nevermind how slow my car is compared to other Turbo's but heres a video of the lil green LED, its my favorite part of the kit, also take a look at my AFR's they are a little to ruch at 10.5 but at least its safe

My pass side fender is full, pulled the washer fluid reservoir already to make room for my fuse box, EPS computer and other misc wires.

Any room in the driver side fender...
