Default AFI Twinscroll manifold

So I recently purchased an AFI Twinscroll T4 manifold divided and I'm curious if anyone would like to share their experiences with either a T3 Twinscroll manifold divided or a T4 Twinscroll manifold divided.

If I had a Precision 6262 with .84 AR turbo, how much lag wil there be on an unopened F20c motor? Is a T4 too big?

I've had the opportunity to chat and communicate with Brad about making a T3 divided manifold but, I've been discouraged by him multiple times to stick with the T4 divided manifold.

I would appreciate any insight. As always, I don't mind spending money, just not wasting money.

I have a the T4 divided with a Precision CEA 6265 T4.81, spool is decent and pulls hard to redline. You won't be disappointed.

YOu meant a 6266? At what rpm does you spool start? Is your F20c unopened?

The 6266 is the replacement for the 6265 which used to be available when the 62XX series turbos were released...

Here is the deal, The divided T3 is a waste of time in my opinion for the S2000 and basically all honda engines that feature the volumetric efficentcy that we are so lucky to have. The F20/22 moves goobs of air and require relatively large turbine housings so back pressure will not become and issue. When running in a divided (not twin scroll)setup, you want to run a larger than normal turbine housing, because the internal divider is actually making your .84a/r housing smaller in terms of volume, than that of a open .84a/r unit.

Stick with the T4 and dont look back, you will have tons of sizing options available to you in a T4 footprint, while the T3 are very few and far between...

a t4 twin scroll manifold and turbo is the ultimate setup. I have a t3 open scroll setup on my s2000 which can be speen in my signature but I do have a t4 divided fullrace manifold with a t4 divided 1.06ar gt3582r on my stock 2003 evo 8 block. I can tell you from persional experance that my t4 1.06 divided gt3582r setup spool faster and makes more power than my old open scroll/undevided t3 .63ar gt3076r setup.

I noticed that all who have responded, have at least 1.0 AR or bigger. Was my selection of the 6262 with a .84 AR a poor choice? Should have I done a Precision 6266 instead?
