Getting a new one tomorrow (Tial mvs 38) so we can see what happens. We also installed a back pressure sensorplate.
I had a small tear in my Tial 44mm diaphragm too. It was the banjo bolt that was a tiny bit long that was hitting it.

I ended up shaving off some material from the bolt so it wouldn't protrude out the hole. Just FYI hopefully the new one won't have any issues! Good luck!

Hey we did a good dynorun today. Finally no problems at all. Still on normal cams, tomorrow on Brian Crower stage 2 turbo cams and more boost.

Boost: 0.9 bar
Timing: 20 degrees (above 6500rpm, under that 19)
Torque: about 420Nm at 4700rpm
Power: 455bhp at 8700 rpm
Fuel: euro95 (91 in the states?)

this was an earlier run where you can see the temps and some other values

That's the idea yes. Being done today. If the cams are an improvement @0.9 bar then they will probably be so @1.8bar.

So did you figure out why the afr was off from simply activating the solenoid?

Yeah the springs weren't the same. Pang from Pfab should have put in 1 bar springs in each of them but actually one was 0.5bar and the other 0.7bar.

Yes it is, cost a shitload of time and money before we began doubting that. The springs are very small at that size so we sent them off the have measured exactly. That's when we found out.

By the way, does anybody have an adjustable cam gear for sale? We're trying to install the Brian Crower cams but it's pretty hard without the adjustable gears.

Or does anybody have good tips how to do it with the stock gears?

I thought you said it was running the same boost though? The springs should not have an effect on afr.
