Default Another trip to the track, best time to date :)

So my wifes official due date is tomorrow and I figured one last trip to the track before the car is pretty much put away for while

I figured I would go all out and see what I could get, but when I got there I chickened out and just wanted to be able to drive it home, lol. First run was terrible, it was 12.6 @ 127 with a 2.2 60'. ATCO is having a huge event tomorrow so there was a lot of Big Horsepower cars and they seemed to take forever, they go one by one and takes them forever and a day to get staged. Anyway, I didnt want to wait hrs between each run so I figured I would go one more time and really heat up the tires, I knew right away it was my best run to date, fealt GREAT and car F----- Launched out of the hole ( not a Ford 8.8 launch, but still a good one)

I preloaded with the E-brake, brought it up to 6,000RPMS and hammered it and dropped the brake the same time. I did get a touch of wheel hop at the top of first, but just stayed in it and shifted to 2nd.

R/T............ .404
60'............ 1.718 (so close to a 1.6, would have been awesome on stock Diff)
330............ 5.065
1/8............ 7.616
MPH............ 97.65
1000........... 9.749

ET............. 11.525
MPH............ 129.87

I am looking foward to beefing up the tranny and diff come winter, I don't see any reason why high 10's arent in my future once I am able to luanch hard and slam the gears, and have slightly taller gears.

I didint really think 11.5 was too terribly fast, but it seemed like I was one of the fastest street cars of the night, kinda a good feeling when all the other cars are Mustangs and Camaros with huge slicks and roll cages, lol

Wow, a 1.7 60 without breaking is very good. With your power level its amazing you haven't blown the diff, or at least an axle. Good stuff.

Great work! That's awesome. 11 seconds is a pretty damn respectable street car. with your MPH you're definitely looking into the 10's once you get it hooked up.
