Choosing either kit, should a potential buyer be worried about the accelerated wear of main bearing?

SOS great kit ! nothing to talk about it !
Well my point was SOS has a PROVEN history whereas the new KW of course doesnt. That made a big difference with me because although money wasnt a big concern, reliability and no worries about past history of failing kits or current stories about missing parts were things i didnt want to deal with. Anyway i was sharing my experience and reasoning so the OP could make his or her decision. The fact remains that with the newer KW kit, you are maxed out from the box and maxing anything out means it will probably wear out or fail faster if you run it at 100%. I just prefer knowing I'm running well below max so that if i ever decided i could still increase my output by 150 rwhp. That is all.

Yout think because the kit is "maxed out of box" you will have problems , wear out? let me tell you that the blower of the new kit (c38-31) have SO MUCH MORE potenttial , if not look at the tts kit , so .. you are FAR of wear out something.-

So how long have you had a supercharger on your s2000? How many miles? Do you have any actual input or are you just high on the KW kit simply because you bought one?

Did you design the kit yourself that i should "let you tell me" anything? I have actual people i know running both kits....not just friends of friends. I don't feel like i need to take your word for anything because first of all i dont know you and second i know you dont even have an installed supercharger on your car.

The point i was making is simply that i cant worry about my blower running maxed out, or possibly expanding its potential. I am much more no nonsense and tend to avoid theoretical possibilites. I into real world results and proven track records. The fact that KW was having to redesign their kit, then having missing parts, then having enough unhappy customers to make it count meant it wasnt for me. I'm a doctor and i run a very busy practice and i dont have the time for my car to sit in the shop or not being able to drive it anywhere because of reliability issues. I've been on many 2000 to 3000 mile round trips without issues. I wanted something that just works and so far i havent been disappointed. Its also making 436 rwhp on the dynojet to boot at only 8.1psi so thats very little stress on the engine because i plan to keep this car as long as i can shift gears.

EDIT: I looked at my dyno sheet and I'm at 378.5 rwhp on the dyno dynamics (heart breaker) and 426 rwhp on the dynojet (instead of 436 as i said incorrectly before)

426whp on 8.1 psi? I'm sorry but you must have some numbers backwards so I don't believe it. 426bhp maybe. Was this the infamous Church dyno? Most sos kits need 14-15psi to make 400+ whp.

i live in miami for 5 years , now i live in argentina. i have 2 supercharged s2k in miami with kraftkwers old kit and without issues for 40k milles. doing 380whp. so I KNOW what im saying.-

i only saying that this BLOWER that cames in the kit have SO MUCH MORE pottential , is the same blower that use TTS kit , and if u see tts kit making a lot power than Kraftwerks and SOS. i dont care if you dont know me, and if you think i have or not a kit installed in my car. tomorrow i will install my new kraftkers kit. i dont talk only possitive things of this kit because i buy ... if you read what i post you will see that i say that the first kits they have issues with missing parts that now that problem its not anymore.

i think you are right saying that with sos you have more pottential to do and dont have maxed out your blower to be safe.- but saying its not reliable the NEW kraftwerks kit i dont think so. its my opinion i respect your opinion. and i think you have to respect mine.

I can agree to that. I guess when you get too busy with life and work as you get older, you start craving stuff thats already tried and tested by others rather than going through the excitement, rewards, and sometimes headaches of something newer. I sure miss those days but thank goodness people like you are around :-) Lets get some time and miles on those new KW kits and if its a worthy upgrade thats when I will jump in :-) Cheers!
