the rsx ecu is used because it is programmable, this isn't the case with the s2000 ecu...
He meant s200 ecu not s2000, its just another product from Hondata.

Can you tell us if any functions are lost with the new kpro?
traction control and cruise control?
On my version of it, cruise control is lost. This may not be the deal with the production version. VSA is still enabled as are OBD2 functions unless you decide to turn them off. So you can go to the smog man and he can actually plug into your OBD port. No other differences at all though between the standard K-Pro for the cable S2000's and the DBW.

Hondata only really makes sense for the 06+ s2k's as you can retain the traction control system or in a state where there is no visual emissions inspection.

Otherwise the AEM is honestly better in all respects.

Its the same thing in the Subaru community, our ECUs are flashable (like hondata) but many will switch over to a fully programmable ECU because there are drawbacks to the stock ECU.

Any state with OBDII & no (really detailed) visual inspection.

I'm the person with the K-pro for DBW and so far it's been pretty damn good. There are a few issues we have run into with map sensor CEL's but it's mainly because of our altitude here in Albuquerque so the voltages run pretty low because of that. We figured out a way around it though, so no worries. As far as the uploading changes issue, if you are just making minute changes, it takes a second to upload... if you're making major changes to an entire fuel map for example, it takes around 10 seconds to upload. As far as changing sensors, this doesn't apply to the DBW cars... you don't need to buy any of the sensors listed for the other S2000 K-Pros, so that's some money you get to pocket.

On a Precision 59/61 turbo and 13 lbs of boost at 5200 ft above sea level we put down 403 rwhp on a pretty conservative tune and it took all of an hour to do the tuning.
Did you have to swap out your primary O2 sensor for an RSX 02 sensor?
