Default any tips on washing a supercharged s2k engine?

my bro just got a 00 supercharged s2k. the engine is very dirty. i have a NA 03 s2k and i washed my engine with no problems. i was wondering should i do anything different or watch out for some parts when washing the engine. thanks

also would an intercooler add any benefit to the comptech supercharger? i'm talking about the intercooler thats makes the car look like its turboed.

I wouldn't know since I've never washed it.

You might try hot soapy water with a soft brush, rinse well and dry off with a soft towel. A garden leaf blower would work well too. I would not use any aftermarket products on it to make it shiny as they attract dirt.

Just cover any/all electronic components (if any) including the battery with a plastic bag, and cover the filter completely, and rubberband the bag to ensure no water gets on it. After that, spray away. I wash my engine probably about twice a month and it's been spotless and problem free.

i just wash it like normal, and afterwards i wipe off puddles and start the motor, warm it up with the hood up, it'll dry up no problem.
