I know the +06 have a returnless fuel system (IIRC), the fuel pressure regulator moved to the fuel tank, and DBW throttle. I think we all know that, which is why the 04-05 kit won't work for the 06. I found a Comptech (or CT Engineering) kit specifically for the '06 so I want to how many (if any) people have installed this kit with any success? Also what did they do to make it work?

I'm also trying to find out if it could be possible to buy a used SC and get whatever else is need to run it on an 06.

i have a vortech on my 07. Vortech used my car for thier 1st project dbw vortech application from there factoy, they use the aem fuel and timing controller on the stock ecu. they dynoed my car at 170whp( i was SUPPRISED how low it was) but then after they put on the sc and tuned it it was up to 278whp. i dont know if comptech has one or done one yet

 

^ do u mean the fuel ignition controller? is that all thats different from previous year kits?

Indeed if you found an 06 CT S/C consider yourself lucky.

 

i dont think it is in production yet, they said that they would have to do another 07, an an couple 06's, so it could be a while. a tech from aem came out to vortech to work on the fuel ignition controller with them, it took a while for them to get it to work right. they also put in 55lb injectors. (sorry if i jacked your thread)

 

Looks like us DBW owners will have a lot of FI options by this summer.
KW is right around the corner, and hopefully CT, VT, and Greddy.
