Congrats! It's great to see an SC'd AP1 >400whp. Hoping my next tune will get me there too...

What's your VTEC set at?

It is the stock blower that comes with the V2 vortech kit.

Yeah feels really nice now. Might go for 14 psi at some point but idk. My blower needs a rebuild soon I think. Took the filter off after doing some hard pulls and some oil residue around the compressor wheel.

My vtec is set at 3600 I believe.

BEARINGS

The V2 S trim is good to 53,000 impeller rpm, above that it goes hot and looses efficiency.
With the T-trim I ran mine to 57,000 rpm before getting the special bearings. I suggest if you are running above 55,000 rpm you should get the hybrid ceramic bearings for the output side. I found bearings rated at 62,000 rpm to 74,000 rpm. Good matched high speed output bearings run about $450.

I upgraded the low speed input side since that is being over spun too. The input bearings are rated at 15,000 rpm and the Vortech input bearings are cheap one dollar bearings with very large clearances and poor performance. They were designed for electric motors. Since I spin those bearings over 17,000 rpm I replaced mine with bearings rated to 23,000 rpm for about $50. They are rated for a higher radial load too.

With a bearing separator and a press it takes about 1-2 hours to swap the bearings and seals.
