Default Anyone running Comp Turbos?

Curious if anyone has any experience with Comp turbos? Im pretty close to a rather big name guy/performance shop and I can get one for rather cheap (at cost). I just wanted to see if anyone on s2ki has used a Comp Turbo on their S. If there isn't much feed back Im considering just being a guinea pig for the s2ki community slapping one on and later sharing results

This will be a stock long block f20 ap1

I was looking at:

CT-4 t3 6265 .82 A/R 3"vband triple ceramic ball bearing

CT-4 t3 6465 .82 A/R 3"vband triple cermaic ball bearing

Sounds like someone starting a new business. You should try it out and write a review.

Go-Autoworks has a new custom turbonetics turbo. Well more than one. I'm more than likely going to be running one of these soon.

The last turbo I had on my b series was a comp billet 72mm turbo. Although it's apples to oranges compared to a bw s372, it did spool a little quicker and we had the same peak hp with 7 psi less. Seemed to get up on the antilag quicker but that's a given beings it's billet compared to the bw 72mm

When I saw this thread on "comp turbos", I thought it was someone looking to do a compound turbo set up. Disappointment to find that isn't what this is

Be cool if someone would try it though, make for an interesting thread. We had one guy do it a few years ago with a SC/turbo but he dropped off the planet.

A friend of mine had a Comp turbo on his GTI. It ended up leaking oil and was replaced 3 times before he sold the car. I personaly would stay away from them. Then again this is just me speaking from the experience of just one person.

There are at least a few low 9 sec Civics running Comp turbos on Honda-tech. I'll try to find the link(s).

A lot of the Nissan guys run them down here in Florida and swear by them. I say go for it as I have also thought of purchasing one but never pulled the trigger.

I have seen at least two s2k's with them. A local shop to me seem to use comp turbos for most of their turbo setups
