anyone using Fullblown hanger with 2 044 pumps
Hello all members
I was wondering does anyone using Full blown dual billet hanger with mod to in tank use 2 borsch 044 pumps?
044 is good pump but this damn thick so I never seen FB hanger but I compare to hanger photo and 044 photo and may fit with some minor modification hanger
but not sure if both pump sit perfectly in the tank
anyone tried?

Since the walbro 450 e85 pump came out there not really a point to go with a duel pump unless your going for well over 700whp as a since walbro 450 will support over 700whp on e85.

I'm going to hydramat setup. The walbro 450 is internal pump so they don't have fitting on bottom of the pump and I'm looking for novi1200 high boost setup. I'm thinking single 044 is bit tight fuel supply under high boost that's why I'm looking for dual 044 instead of 450 pump

I'll be trying to fit dual Walbro 450's on my FB dual hanger if the dual FB 340's can't make it to 1000 whp on e85.

Dual 450's fit just fine on the full blown hanger but you need to make a spacer to space them out a little because the bottoms are so big. The only problem is you can't make both pumps sit on the bottom of the tank, so one will sit higher because the base of the rear pump hits the basin inside the tank. I'm about to pick up a spare tank cut it open and make a bigger higher basin with 4 trap doors to keep the pumps always in fuel. I will post some pictures when I get started on it.

I know intank walbro 255 with single inline 044 setup good enough setup for novi1200 high boost but I'm not gonna use walbro 255 because the pump is sucks at high boost flow rate
044 is the most stable apply fuel under high boost so far I've seen
That's why I want go dual 044 in tank clean installation
One other thing walbro stock suck is nothing just a little filter
I'm trying to build huge 15x15 Hydramat install intank for eliminate fuel surge tank and clean installation as possible for race time attack fuel tank setup

Single 044 pump diameter is about 60mm so dual intank would be 120mm
Anyone know what's the fuel tank housing hole diameter ?
If more than 120mm Fuel housing diameter, dual 044 would be possible goes into the tank

I actually have a mat in my setup with the dual pump hanger. I wanted to go with the 044s originally as well but there is no way to mount both of them in the tank in any sane way. What I opted to do instead is just use the sender and feed a big external. I have tested and used both a Magnafuel 750 and a Fuelab 41402 pump. It works with a 20x15 mat, but I think it does add a good bit of strain on the pump flow.
With my redesign of my kit, I'm still going to use a swirlpot but use a single 044 to feed the tank which feeds a weldon 2345a.
The problem with using the Walbro pumps is the outlet is just for a fuel sock. I couldn't find any way to go from that to any sort of fitting to make it work.
