Default Anyone using the Gauge-tech for the AEM EMS

I was looking to get some gauges soon and the Dephi's are really expensive. The gauge tech has I think 18 different types of gauges and just one display (which I like). My problem is how hard is it to read while driving. I seen a pic of how it looks but can't really tell because its just a picture. I don't want to have to squint or look hard to see the readings while driving and be in position where an accident could occur. And I do have an AEM EMS with UEGO.

If anyone has it where did you mount it, how do you like it, can you read it well, what displays do you have on normally while driving because I know I'd want to see boost to make sure Im not over boosting or under boosted and if you have pics can you post? Thanks!

Consider getting AEM's Serial Datastream gauge instead. The Gauge-Tech was great when there was nothing available way back when. AEM's serial gauge works very well and can toggle between 19 different parameters. You can daisy chain them as well.

Yeah, I'm looking into them right now. I was hoping to go for something that was a digital display. Cool. Appreciate the help!

AEM's Serial looks great but it can only display one parameter at a time. And the Arc and Numeric combo is a bit dated.

Only problem with the gauge-tech is it looks like a school science project.

Anybody have the software (or a source for it) for the Gauge-tech dash?

hey.
i recently just decided to go with the serial gauge

if you want a digital gauge.. completely customizable, and deep enough to be mounted in the radio door, check out PLX OLED gauges.

keep in mind though, the DM-200 OBD won't work with ems, you'll need to get the regular gauge and data boxes.

Long story short a friend of mine bought one for his 240 a few years ago. He's just now getting the AEM EMS operational on his car and the gauge-tech website is DOA. He's needs the software to get the gauges working.
