Default Anyone using K&N filter with Comptech supercharger

I'm thinking about replacing my Comptech filter with K&N filter...anyone running K&N..? Also, anyone running Comptech w/o the air box?

There is an AFE filter that works with the Comptech SC and Cold Air. It is the same as a K&N, just blue instead of red.

Several people have bought them on the board. Let me see if I can find the link....

AFE Filter 24-55507

It is bigger than Comptech's foam element. It is a chore to get the AFE to fit, but it does.

<Post is actually about a drop in replacement, but a few posts down Reedz talks about it>

not the most detailed pic. but yes, i'm running the k&n filter with the comptech without the air box. and it works fine.... so far.

Mine was ~$50 including shipping if I remember correctly.

Don't know how much a K&N or Comptech filter costs though...

i dont know whats the part number. but it is direct replacement filter for the stock airbox. keep in mind that i took out the comptech airbox too, otherwise, the stock size k&n filter will not fit. hope this helps.
